Health Analytics Practice

​ Physician Fraud Investigation

  • Assisted with a government investigation of fraudulent providers within a national healthcare network

  • Developed coding logic to identify abnormal billing behavior based on frequency of diagnosis codes

  • Loaded and analyzed disparate, complex datasets in SQL in order to determine bottom-line financial impact

  • Built dynamic dashboards in Excel to visualize complex data that were presented to clients

Data Analytics for Buy-Side Private Equity Deals

  • Examined commercial claims data in SQL and established benchmark reimbursement rates in company markets

  • Developed R functions for an internal R package that was launched to streamline data analysis and visualizations

  • Analyzed Medicare claims data and benchmarked company providers against peer groups to understand key compliance factors

Global Investigations + Strategic Intelligence Practice

​Forensic Accounting Support

  • Assisted in various white-collar crime cases by preparing analyses in Excel and Visio 

  • Developed targeted SQL queries used to identify high-risk vendor payments from transaction-level data

  • Loaded large amounts of data stored in PDF files of bank statements by converting them to Excel format

  • Created data visualizations in Visio, which were used by prosecutors to identify criminal transactions

​ Litigation Support Services

  • Participated in two securities fraud investigations by analyzing relevance and usefulness of documents produced via search warrant

  • Utilized e-discovery platform (Relativity) to flag groups of documents according to search warrant categories

  • Tracked key patterns in the evidence, which were used to streamline strategies for identifying responsive documents

​ Asset Search

  • Investigated corporate records through various databases (Capital IQ, TLOxp, LexisNexis) to identify entities owned by target subject

  • Developed comprehensive Excel spreadsheet to analyze asset hits and prepare data analytics

  • Wrote internal memos summarizing key findings for team members based in Tokyo and New York

Economics + Damages Practice

Breach of Contract Litigation

  • Performed quantitative analysis and qualitative research to support expert report for a breach of contract litigation

  • Wrote draft sections of report, prepared exhibits in Excel, and reviewed deposition transcripts to identify key pieces of evidence

  • Leveraged Excel to analyze data pulled from company general ledger, bank statements, and financial reports

  • Audited footnotes for accuracy and managed list of works produced
